I am thrilled to share with you the journey we’ve embarked on toward fostering health and well-being among our homeowners under the Providence Brand.
In the past two decades, I’ve witnessed the transformation of community amenities around the country from modest offerings to comprehensive wellness hubs.
I’ve noticed that empty nesters, early retirees and downsizers are not merely seeking a place to reside; they are searching for a lifestyle that facilitates physical activity and mental vitality. Hence, the evolution of our facilities was inevitable.
Our investment in the Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort Clubhouse, which is close to completion, epitomises our desire to help our homeowners create the life they would like to wake up to every day!
We are committed to carrying out this vision to our next Resort locations – Henley Brook, Mandurah and Haynes.
Some of the spaces incorporated in the clubhouses will include a well-equipped gymnasium and a dance floor that couples as a space for tai chi, yoga and group exercise classes.
Our indoor heated pools are at a depth that make it ideal for fitness or rehab – be it walking or swimming laps or if there are visiting aqua aerobics instructors. The outdoor pools and sun decks will be popular in the warm summer months especially with the grandkids having sleep overs.
The indoor spas are a great relaxation option, as is the sauna which has a myriad of health and beauty benefits.
In some of our Resorts (including Piara) we will also have a day spa for therapeutic massage, facials etc.
Tranquil quite areas for reflection and contemplation are just as important to our Health and Wellness and so we now include private garden nooks with the use of water features and fragrant flora.
Designated art and craft studios and music rooms where talented homeowners can utilise their gifts as well as a fabulous workshop where retired builders, mechanics, electricians, and the like can hone their skills by tinkering on projects and connecting with others.
We know that these facilities provide opportunities to connect with likeminded people and gain new friendships that counteract feelings of loneliness, boredom, and isolation that can come with retirement.
There are so many other inclusions designed into our Providence Resorts such as pickle ball courts, bowling green, golf simulator, mini microbrewery, veg/herb gardens, chook pen and doggie park.
I am looking forward to them being open and available to our homeowners to enjoy.
